CCP Merger Notifications: When and How to File in Pakistan

Under S.10 of the Competition Act, mergers and acquisitions exceeding prescribed thresholds must be notified to the CCP before completion. The Competition (Merger Control) Regulations 2016 set the thresholds based on combined turnover or assets. Phase I review takes 30 days; Phase II review takes up to 90 days. Completing a notifiable merger without CCP approval is a separate offence.
