1. Notice is hereby given that the union_name, a registered trade union of workers employed at employer_name, intends to go on strike with effect from strike_start_date at strike_start_time in pursuance of the following demands and in accordance with Section 32 of the Punjab Industrial Relations Act 2010.

2. This notice is being issued with notice_days days notice as required under Section 32 of the Punjab Industrial Relations Act 2010. The strike shall commence on strike_start_date unless the matters in dispute are satisfactorily resolved by that date.

3. The following are the principal demands of the workers on behalf of which strike action is contemplated:

4. (a) WAGE INCREASE: Increase in wages by wage_increase_percentage% or a minimum increase of PKR wage_increase_amount per month, effective from effective_date, as demanded workers have not received any wage increase for the past years_without_increase years despite inflation.

5. (b) REGULARIZATION OF CONTRACT WORKERS: Regularization of contract_workers_number contract workers who have been working on contract basis for more than years_on_contract years and are entitled to permanent employment status under labour law.

6. (c) OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY: Implementation of strict occupational health and safety measures including provision of appropriate personal protective equipment, regular health checkups, and improvement of working conditions as per international labour standards.

7. (d) GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM: Establishment of an impartial and independent grievance redressal mechanism with representation from the union for fair and prompt resolution of worker grievances.

8. (e) LEAVE BENEFITS: Enhancement of leave entitlements, particularly paid medical leave for workers suffering from occupational diseases, and maternity leave for female workers.

9. (f) SOCIAL SECURITY: Registration of all workers with the Social Security Institution and provision of mandatory health insurance coverage.

10. The union has made consistent efforts to resolve these demands through negotiations with the management. Multiple requests for discussion have been submitted, but the employer has either ignored these requests or responded with non-committal responses. Detailed timeline of failed negotiations is appended hereto as Annexure-A.

11. No conciliation proceedings are currently pending before the Conciliation Officer or the National Industrial Relations Commission. The strike notice is being issued independent of any active conciliation process.

12. The workers engaging in this strike are not employed in essential services as defined under the Punjab Industrial Relations Act 2010.

13. It is estimated that estimated_workers workers out of total_workers employed at employer_name will participate in this strike. The union is confident of substantial participation in this strike action.

14. The strike shall be conducted peacefully without any violence, intimidation, or disruption of property. The workers will maintain picketing in an orderly manner at the factory gates. No attempt shall be made to prevent workers who wish to continue work from entering the premises, in compliance with labour law.

15. The union_name hereby declares that this strike notice has been duly passed by the union in a general meeting/by executive council resolution, with the support of the workers. The strike is being conducted in good faith to secure legitimate and lawful demands of the workers. A resolution passed by the union in this regard is attached hereto as Annexure-B.

WHEREFORE, notice is hereby given that unless the above demands are satisfactorily resolved or serious and meaningful negotiations are commenced within notice_days days of this notice, the union_name shall commence a strike with effect from strike_start_date at strike_start_time. The employer is called upon to: (a) Initiate immediate dialogue with union representatives; (b) Present a concrete offer addressing the union's demands; (c) Notify the union of willingness to submit to conciliation before the strike commences.

I, union_president_name, President of union_name, do hereby solemnly declare that the contents of the above notice are true and correct and that this notice has been issued with the unanimous consent of the workers represented by the union and in accordance with the constitution of the union. I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Statutory Declarations Ordinance, 1960.
