APPLICATION FOR PROTECTIVE ORDER UNDER PUNJAB PROTECTION OF WOMEN AGAINST VIOLENCE ACT 2016
Respectfully sheweth:
1. That the Applicant is a woman who is in a domestic relationship with the Respondent. The nature of the relationship is relationship_nature.
2. That the Respondent has committed acts of domestic violence against the Applicant, as defined in Section 2(d) of the Punjab Protection of Women against Violence Act 2016.
3. That the Respondent's conduct violence_description constitutes domestic violence and has caused serious harm to the Applicant.
4. That the Applicant is apprehensive of further violence and harm from the Respondent and fears for her safety and well-being.
5. That the Applicant has made repeated requests to the Respondent to cease such conduct, but the Respondent has persisted.
6. That no interim order or protective order has previously been issued in this matter by any court.
7. That it is necessary and expedient to grant urgent relief to protect the Applicant from further violence and intimidation.
8. That this Honourable Court has jurisdiction to entertain the present application under the Punjab Protection of Women against Violence Act 2016.
PRAYER
It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Honourable Court may be pleased to:
(a) Issue an interim protective order restraining the Respondent from committing acts of domestic violence against the Applicant;

(d) Issue directions to the police to provide security to the Applicant;
