APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT OF REVENUE RECORD

4. GROUNDS FOR AMENDMENT: The grounds necessitating the amendment are as follows: amendment_grounds. The current revenue record contains an error or omission that does not reflect the true legal position of the applicant in the property.

6. LEGAL BASIS: Under Section 39 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act 1967, the revenue authorities have the power to amend the record of rights for correction of errors or disclosure of omissions. Section 42 of the Act provides for making entries in the record of rights with respect to acquisition of rights. The applicant's request falls within these statutory provisions.

7. NO DISPUTE: There is no dispute or rival claim to the property. The applicant has been in undisputed possession of the property and has exercised all rights of ownership over it.

8. URGENCY: The amendment is required urgently as the applicant needs to execute urgency_reason and the current incorrect revenue record is creating difficulties.

9. VERIFICATION: All facts stated above are true to the best of the applicant's knowledge and belief. The supporting documents are genuine and authentic.

PRAYER It is therefore respectfully requested that the Tehsildar / Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) be pleased to: (a) Examine the application and the supporting documents; (b) Issue notices to interested parties, if deemed necessary, in accordance with the revenue laws; (c) Pass an order directing the amendment of the revenue record as requested, particularly the Jamabandi, Khasra Girdawari, and Aks-e-Shajra-Nasab entries; (d) Issue a certified extract of the amended record to the applicant for submission to relevant authorities; (e) Grant such other and further relief as may be just and proper.
