LEGAL NOTICE UNDER THE PUNJAB RENTED PREMISES ACT 2009
NOTICE TO VACATE PREMISES
To: tenant_name, son/daughter of tenant_father, resident of tenant_address Date: notice_date Dear tenant_salutation,
This notice is issued on behalf of landlord_name, the landlord of the property known as property_description, situated at property_location, Tehsil tehsil, District district (hereinafter referred to as 'the Property').
You are presently in occupation of the aforesaid Property as tenant under a tenancy agreement dated tenancy_date for a monthly/annual rent of Rs. monthly_rent/- (Rupees rent_words only). The original agreement was for a period of original_lease_term, commencing from tenancy_start_date.
We hereby give you formal notice that landlord_name requires vacant possession of the Property from you. The grounds for this notice are as follows: notice_grounds.
You are hereby directed to vacate the Property and deliver it to landlord_name in good condition within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of receipt of this notice. All fixtures and fittings installed by you shall be removed, and the Property shall be returned to its original state, fair wear and tear excepted.
You are required to pay all outstanding rent, utilities, service charges, and any other amounts due and payable until the date of vacation. Security deposit and rent adjustments shall be settled as per the original tenancy agreement.
Should you fail to comply with this notice and vacate the Property within the aforesaid period of sixty days, landlord_name shall be compelled to initiate proceedings before the Rent Controller/Special Court under the Punjab Rented Premises Act 2009 for eviction, recovery of arrears, and damages, which shall entail costs and legal fees that may be recovered from you.
This notice is issued without prejudice to any other rights and remedies available to landlord_name under law. landlord_name reserves the right to pursue additional claims for rent arrears, damages to the Property, or any other outstanding liabilities.
