PETITION FOR RECOVERY OF ARREARS OF RENT
Respectfully sheweth:
1. That the Petitioner is the owner and landlord of the property_type located at rented_property_address, which was let out to the Respondent for rental_purpose.
2. That the Respondent entered into possession of the rented premises on possession_date on a tenancy_type basis at a monthly rent of Rs. monthly_rent.
3. That the Respondent was bound to pay the monthly rent within the stipulated time, but the Respondent has willfully and deliberately defaulted in payment.
4. That the following arrears of rent remain outstanding as of current_date:

5. That the total outstanding rent as of current_date amounts to Rs. total_arrears for number_of_months months.

PRAYER
It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Honourable Rent Controller may be pleased to:
(a) Pass an order directing the Respondent to pay the outstanding rent of Rs. total_arrears;
(b) Direct the Respondent to pay future rent within the due date each month;
(c) Award simple interest on the arrears at the prescribed rate;
(d) Award costs of the petition; and
(e) Grant such other relief as deemed just and equitable.
