About Narcotics & Drug Offences

Narcotic offences in Pakistan are prosecuted under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act 1997 (CNSA) before Special Courts (Control of Narcotic Substances) constituted under the Act. The CNSA provides for stringent penalties, with separate scales for narcotics quantity (small / commercial / heavy), and contains specific bail bars at Section 51 for offences punishable with death.
