Appellate procedure in Pakistan is governed by Order XLI of the CPC 1908 for civil first appeals, Order XLII for second appeals, Order XLVII for review, and Section 115 for revision. In criminal matters, the framework is provided by Sections 404 to 442 of the CrPC 1898, dividing appeals into appeals to Sessions Court, appeals to High Court, and appeals to the Supreme Court.
